Allison Riback
Fine Artist - Art Instructor

β€œIt is in my personal experience and connection to my home that inspires my creative expression through drawing and painting. I feel this connection through nature, music, and the memories I have made growing up in a small town in Northwestern Connecticut. Always having been surrounded by nature, I acknowledge the importance it has not only in my work, but in my own individual growth as a young woman. The drawings and paintings I make are inspired by the place where I grew up and the elements of it that shape me. The imagery in my work makes up special memories and moments of these elements so that I can return to them and feel connected to my roots no matter where I am."

Allison is an adjunct professor teaching Drawing I at Sacred Heart University while pursing a career as an artist. She has received her Masters in Fine Art at the New York Academy of Art in the spring of 2021.
